COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in wine barrels with orange peel, Sofie is a tart, dry, sparkling ale. A subtle, spicy white pepper note, a hint of citrus from the orange peel and a creamy vanilla finish make Sofie an intriguing choice for Champagne drinkers and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian Saisons.

7.99! for a bomber of this at my local podunk market. How can anyone pass this shit up? A solid Belgian mellow farmhouse ale with just the right amount of zing to keep me intrigued. yeah yeah...so what that ABIBev owns them.....at least its still a high quality product you downtrodden negative fixated momo’s! I’m pissed at myself for not buying two....I mean how many times a year do I actually go to the grocery store by myself and have Carte Blanche to buy whatever...... I could have easily finished two bombers and had a nice nap.

straight from the bottle like a man as always...bit sour like I am told a farmhouse saison should be. carby, mellow hops, tangy lemon, vanilla slight, citrus rind. Creamy on the tongue at first and goes mild acid quickly after. Carbs and burps follow that are not immediately perceptable (carbonation is a bit high) creamy if you let it linger in the mouth at first but gets much more sour if you hold it creamy orange and lemon rinds...top end beer but there are others at the price nothing wrong with this one but I am searching for a different taste..85%

Pours a cloudy golden colour, looks very similar to a standard wheat beer. Aroma notes include ripe fruits such as apple, pear, with some yeasty funk thrown in the mix. The tasting notes include sour apple, pear, and even a hint grapes (perhaps from the win barrels). Spices, and slight bitterness round out this spectacular beer. Saison’s are one of my favorite styles, nothing like a good saison on a patio soaking up some sun!

765mL bottle from LCBO. Pours cloudy and yellow. Funky yeast aroma with sour apple. Taste is spicy and herbal, yeasty, and not as bitter as I would’ve expected. Lemon, apple, and cloves are present.

Pours a subtly faint yellow from the bottle while forming a decent head on top that will linger for a bit. The nose provides hints of lemony citrus and some sourness to it. Very sparkling and complex, great for those that like Belgium style ales and saisons. Not bad, just not my thing

Pours golden yellow with three fingers of foam that lingers. Smell is classic Belgian yeast smell with sour notes. Mild chill haze. Taste is refreshing and quite complex. Can taste the Brett, grass, orange peal, and mild cotton candy. Thin consistency with mild sour aftertaste. Very good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle thanks to my brother for my birthday! Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with nice lady white head that sticks decently. Aroma of citrus, lemon and orange, the funky yeast and a almost witbier spice. Taste follows, a very nice saison. Good stuff.
