THOUGHTS: Very wine like in flavor and very champagne like in texture, but still recognizable as a saison. An excellent summer sipper that could probably stand upt to colder weather as well. It should age incredibly well. Less hoppy than many saisons, but there was enough acid and sourness to create great balance with the malt.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a light to medium yellow that was almost glowing. It had excellent carbonation that constantly tried to rebuild the head, which was average to large, frothy, off-white and mostly diminishing. The aroma had light to moderate light bread and cracker malts; light herbal and grassy hops; moderate to heavy earthy, dusty and spicy yeast; slight funky yeast; and white wine. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly sour; while the finish was slightly sweet, light to moderately acidic; moderate to heavily tart and lightly bitter with an average on flavor and long on dryness duration. There was white wine, cracker, white bread, funky yeast, a little wood, apple, maybe a hint of vanilla, champagne, earthy yeast and dusty yeast. The light to medium body was very dry with very fizzy and tingly carbonation.

765ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a good sized white cap. Aroma is heavy with dry apple cider like notes, light cotton candy, light moscato like notes, light lemon, and paraffin. The taste has floral notes, cider heavy characteristics, noticeable moscato like notes, and light bitterness up front that leads into Belgian yeast, white grape juice, and mineral notes in the finish. Perfect champagne like carbonation. This is excellent stuff. Thumbs up!

Not sure where to begin with this. I had seen this beer once in local paper being reviewed and always wanted to try, even saw it at LCBO for longest time but never pulled the trigger. Well got a bottle to try finally. So, pours a light light cloudy pale yellow, with some carbonation. aroma is citrus, grapes, almost a hint of wine to it. sip is tart, I don’t get vanillla, after taste to it, almost makes me think wine. Interesting but will not buy again.

Great spring summer beer. Large floral notes with a citrus sweet flavor on the tongue. A slight tart and champagne feel on the palate. enjoyable, one of my preferred beers from goose island. reminiscent of the Festina Peche from dog fish head.

Clear pale yellow beer, aery irregular white head, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very dirty, unpleasant, artificial bretta, lemony. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body, weird slick oily texture. Taste: dirty start, artifical bretta, rotten fruits, lemony, fruity touch as well, you sort of get used to it, but not really. Aftertaste: lemony, little bitter, peaches, overripe banana peel, orange peel, floral, some honey. Nope, this isn’t cutting it for me...

Draft. Citrus bitterness with yeast. Bready, banana, cloves and yeast flavors. The yeast coats the mouth.

Pours a pale yellow. Slight haze. Long lasting white head. Smells of apricot, peach and urine(in a good way). Funky aroma. Taste of banana and peach, with a peppery finish. The Belgium yeast shines through and is the star of the show.

A pleasant farmhouse ale with an aroma reminiscent of fields of recently cut wheat. Has a sweet and slightly bitter long finish and a golden color.

Cheers!.

Bottle. Straw/orange with very large frothy white head. Aroma of Belgian notes, pear, and citrus. Light body with pear, yeast, light spice notes, and a hint of hop bitterness. Finishes with a slight sour finish. Very nice.
