4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
THOUGHTS: Very wine like in flavor and very champagne like in texture, but still recognizable as a saison. An excellent summer sipper that could probably stand upt to colder weather as well. It should age incredibly well. Less hoppy than many saisons, but there was enough acid and sourness to create great balance with the malt.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a light to medium yellow that was almost glowing. It had excellent carbonation that constantly tried to rebuild the head, which was average to large, frothy, off-white and mostly diminishing. The aroma had light to moderate light bread and cracker malts; light herbal and grassy hops; moderate to heavy earthy, dusty and spicy yeast; slight funky yeast; and white wine. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly sour; while the finish was slightly sweet, light to moderately acidic; moderate to heavily tart and lightly bitter with an average on flavor and long on dryness duration. There was white wine, cracker, white bread, funky yeast, a little wood, apple, maybe a hint of vanilla, champagne, earthy yeast and dusty yeast. The light to medium body was very dry with very fizzy and tingly carbonation.

Aucune amertume.
Format: 765 ml
Taux d?alcool : 6,5%

Foggy blonde with a white head. Nice, sweet, Belgian aroma. Sweet, yeasty, lightly hopped. Medium to slightly light body. Not terribly unique but drinkable. Thanks to PorterPounder.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy straw holding decent effervescence and showing good retention and lacing properties. The nose is mostly yeasty (but also grainy) with orange peel, nice floral and earthy elements. The taste bold and fresh with the yeast at the frontline giving nice acidity to the brew. Citrusy, floral, a touch resinous with a light grassy finish. Very nice beer to enjoy with light dishes like salads or fish. Cheers!

Nice refreshing beer, a very subdued sour. Kind of lacking anything that makes you go wow, slightly thin mouthfeel.

Bouteille de 765ml. Arôme très agrume. Belle couleur orangée vive et rafraîchissante. En bouche, c’est très acide. Manque d’amertume pour balancer le côté Brett.

Bottled. Pour into a tulip, hazy yellow golden color with a white fluffy head. Aroma is orange, citrus, lemon, banana, wheat, coriander. Flavor is lemon, citrus, orange, sour and funk. Actually really nice. But it is the most sour I’d enjoy.

pours a murky straw gold with a medium bubbly white head. Aroma is complex. some hay/grass, some spice like coriander, hint of citrus. The taste is refreshing. Slight citrus, but also some warming spice fades in. Quick dry finish with some pleasant alcohol warming on the end. Really a good beer!
