4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
THOUGHTS: Very wine like in flavor and very champagne like in texture, but still recognizable as a saison. An excellent summer sipper that could probably stand upt to colder weather as well. It should age incredibly well. Less hoppy than many saisons, but there was enough acid and sourness to create great balance with the malt.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a light to medium yellow that was almost glowing. It had excellent carbonation that constantly tried to rebuild the head, which was average to large, frothy, off-white and mostly diminishing. The aroma had light to moderate light bread and cracker malts; light herbal and grassy hops; moderate to heavy earthy, dusty and spicy yeast; slight funky yeast; and white wine. The initial flavor was slightly sweet, lightly acidic and slightly sour; while the finish was slightly sweet, light to moderately acidic; moderate to heavily tart and lightly bitter with an average on flavor and long on dryness duration. There was white wine, cracker, white bread, funky yeast, a little wood, apple, maybe a hint of vanilla, champagne, earthy yeast and dusty yeast. The light to medium body was very dry with very fizzy and tingly carbonation.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cerveza color ámbar turbio. Con aromas cítricos a Lima, y cáscara de naranja. Al paladar se perciben notas cítricas intensas con toque de naranja y al final con un ligero sabor a fermentación que perdura. Cerveza agradable y fresca.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
De geur is lekker fruitig. De kleur troebelblond met een mooie schuimkraag. De smaak is ook lichtfruitig, maar het hinderd niet. Een goed biertje.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle poured into a pilsner showing well filtered neon yellow with half a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows a lot of clean lemon zest, orange peel, and sweet bready malts.
The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Moderately tart with flavors of light lemon and hints of orange. Light Belgian yeast influence apparent throughout. Excellent example of a saison.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Hazy yellow with a large frothy white head. Citrus, brett, leather, barnyard, minerals and vanilla in the nose. Flavour follows: Brett, barnyard, leather, wood, citrus, grapes and vanilla. Medium body, fizzy carbonation, thin texture, medium sweet with balanced bitterness. Somewhat fizzy and overly dominated by citrus, kind of like a bretty wit.

Great example of a saison. Slightly tart with a touch of lemon and lemon peel. Didn’t get orange peel but there was a light cracker/malt flavor and a little hops. Refreshing.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
765ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden blonde, with a small white head, which lasts well and leaves decent lacing. The aroma offers white wine, a little vanilla oak and some funky notes. Funky tartness up front mixes with a little oak, before leading into fruity orange and white wine in the mid-palate. It finishes crisp and spicy. A nice, complex saison.
