Draft at GI Clybourn on 8/4/11. Pours a dark honey color. Large white head. Lots of lacing. Very nice grapefruit aroma. Lots of juicy citrus. Big hoppy flavor. Tradional IPA bitterness in the mouthfeel. Just had a 5 oz sampler of this, but would definitely go for a pint if I see again.

[Tap] Bright light copper coloring with a wispy white head. Nice lacing. Grassy hop aroma with surprisingly malty caramel and toffee notes. The taste is of crisp citrus hopping, mild astringent grains, floral notes and a biting herbal bitterness. Average mouthfeel and palate. Very drinkable and quite tasty.

On cask at GI Clybourn. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of bready malt and grassy hops. Flavor of tons of bready malt, a bitter hops finish, also some jam and light fruits. Very English IPA-like. 7/4/7/4/14 [3.6/5]

Flight on tap at the Clybourn brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a nice rich orange fiery amber pour, a good glow, healthy whitish head sits atop and dies to a film, laces ok. Some soapy elements. Color is great. Aromas are good grapefruit, tangerine, and lemons. Touches of oranges, with some more grapefruit, touches of melon. Some pale malts, bread, and crackers. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied with some moderate hops, grapefruit and tropical fruit mix into some lemons and melons. Some grass, florals, lingering touches of gumballs, with more grapefruit. Really nice vibe here, not overly intense or in your face, but flavorful and well balanced, offering a moderate hopping, fruity and tasty. Finish is dry, florals are stronger, dried out well, some bread, but dry lingering hops, grapefruit, and a touch of tropical fruit sweetness linger. Mmmmmmm. Nice Summer IPA.

Draft at GI Cly. New IPA, cool! Pours an orangey gold with a white head. Nose is freshly citrusy. Nothing too distinct, but very clean, no yeast notes. Orange zest and grapefruit notes with a soft maltiness as well. On taste, firm bitterness and a lot of hop flavor. Tending again towards the citrus blossom florals and orange zest. No real astringency. Really clean and refreshing and soft. Very nice IPA.

On tap at clyboun location... Pours hazy tea-like orange cidery hue and topped with a medium creamy white head... Aroma consists of orange and citrus zest alongside some sweeter sugary citrus esthers that linger on for quite a bit. A light yeast character surfaces on the backend as well... Herbal and earthy upfront then followed up by a somewhat dull citrus hop character while finishing on a slightly grassy bitter note. Somewhat full natured from a mouthfeel perspective with a low level of carbonation. Ok.
