Goose Island Summertime

fruity sweet apricot flavor in hops it is exactly the best way i have ever tasted it. tart and chalky it is fairly simple and pretty good. it finishes light with just a bit of lingering flavor. it has good carbonation. surprised it does’nt rate a bit higher.

Light sweet bready/grainy nose. A touch of hops. Pours light golden with a soft white head. The flavor is lightly sweet with notes of bread, grain, honey, a dash of corn maybe, and a crisp finish.

Pours a cloudy orange-straw color with foamy white head that diminishes quickly. Aroma has notes of citrus, mainly orange; a bit flowery, clover. Taste is wheat, coriander, earthy, medium hopped, surprisingly creamy texture. Good Kolsch!

Pours a clear golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma is malty with hints of lemon and corn. Taste is very much the same: corn, malt, some lemon and other fruity notes, honey, and earthy hops. Mediocre for its style.

Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. The aroma is light and grassy... pils malt and mild hops. Flavor is nice and refreshing. A mix of grassy hops and light but sweet malt. Clean, crisp finish. Perfect for summer outings.

12oz bottle. Pale gold with a nice puffy white cap, Aromas of grains grassiness and light apple tones. Light malt in the front some apple and grass, light clean finish. Approachable quenching and tasty, great summer Kolsch

Bottle, Rehills, Newcastle. Great bittersweet pale ale. Juicy malt and fruity hops combime to give a truly refreshing summer ale. Sherbert and citrus flavours on the tongue, in particular, an orangey flavour, with a good lingering finish, that becomes pleasantly tangy towards the end.

pours a pale golden yellow, effervescent, with a thin white head.....aroma of grassy hop and light grain.... flavors of grassy hop and grainy malt. thin mouthfeel. quite drinkable on a hot summer day but not all that great if given options.
