cb23 (97), St. louis, Missouri, USA Jul 25, 2008 Bottle. This is a very refreshing Kolsch-style brew. Perfect balance of malt with a dash of hops. Almost reminiscent of a wheat beer, except with more flavor. Would definitely recommend on a hot summer day. hopdog (5527), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 25, 2008 12oz bottle, bottled on 05/21/08. Poured a medium and lighlty hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromsa of grains, wheat, and some citrus. Tastes follow suit. Thinner body. rudolf (1734), Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. Yellowy gold, white head. Nose is dougy malts, light lemon. Simple but nice. Flavor is lemon, doughy malt, undefined fruits. A hint of richer malt in the finish. Very good. Acknud (770), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jul 8, 2008 After a hot day mowing this is a great beer. Very light with a small head. Wheat aroma and taste with a slight bitter hop finish. Bigmmartin (366), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottle. Excellent summer time brew. A nice German lager with a typical lager aroma characteristic. Clear golden in color with a white head. Flavor is lightly hoppy and fruity, but mostly lagerish. Similar to some pilsners, but with a more crisp and refreshing finish. Mild overall. 12many (231), Ohio, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottle thanks to bigmmartin. Nice bread yeast aroma with some slight pine. Flavor is slightly bland but mostly sweet with some very mild bitterness. Mild carbonation as well. Smooth and drinkable but not mind blowing. joshiez (48), USA Jul 7, 2008 It’s supposed to be a summer beer...which I suppose means light on the palate....a real thirst quencher....and I suppose it works....because it basically tastes like water. There’s not much beer here. The aroma is non-existent, there isn’t any spice or bite in the flavor. It’s not bad, but its not good. It’s basically a slightly better version of a ’Silver Bullet’....which doesn’t work since its so much more expensive, and its not worth it. Avoid this, and get the cheap beer for the summer thirst quencher. beerbill (1918), Laurel, New York, USA Jul 5, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with a thin creamy white head that lasted until mid-glass and left very light lace. After several minutes, the beer becomes a yellow gold and is nearly clear. Light, pleasant aroma of malt and lemon. The flavor is very similar with malt and lemon. Crisp and refreshing with barely any bitterness at the finish. A very solid Kolsch.
