dalekliz (546), San Diego, California, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pale gold with a small, bright white head. Light aroma, of hops, malt, and citrus. Yeast and malt taste, sweet and bitter, with notes of lemon. Lingering lemony bitterness. Tasty and drinkable. mattmc1973 (300), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA Jul 4, 2008 12 oz bottle, pours clear golden color with big frothy white head. Light aroma of wheat, slightly fruity, and floral. Taste is malty and wheat, very crisp and light mouthfeel. Very refreshing, a nice summer beer! Svesse (2597), Hässelby, Sweden Jul 3, 2008 (Bottle, Monk’s Café, Stockholm, 1 July 2008) Yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of lemon, peaches and grassy, floral hops. Fruity taste with tropical fruit, pineapple and hay. Fairly sweet, but well balanced kölsch. Nice and summery but hardly ground breaking. GJF (480), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA Jul 1, 2008 Eh. It’s got it’s place I suppose, but it’s fairly disappointing. A bit of sweet maltiness, but a cardboard finish. Drinkable but certainly not to search for. jebert (110), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Jul 1, 2008 This Northern German style beer pours a hazy pale gold with a light white head, mostly dissapating. The aroma is citrus and spice. Very creamy and velvety smooth on the palate. Taste is light, with a whisper of grapefruit and lemon. Finishes with a bit of dry hoppiness. Very refreshing summer beer best enjoyed after a game of croquet, lawn bowling or badminton. Nephilium (541), Ohio, USA Jun 30, 2008 A slight fruity aroma, it pours a somewhat hazy light yellow, with a thin white head. A bit of sweetness starts out the flavor, which is quickly stopped by a touch of grassy hops. Nice and thirst quenching. Not spectacular, but very drinkable. WickerBrew (312), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jun 30, 2008 Not really going to complain on this one. It has its place, but its not something that should be sought out. Better than your average lager, its got some grassiness in there. I am seeing this around alot, which is a good sign of things to come i think. IPAaLLtHEwAY (136), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jun 25, 2008 Pours golden yellow with a frothy white head. Smells like grains and yeast, perhaps some mild fruits.Flavor is very refreshing. slightly sweet with fruitiness, and yeastiness also pops its glob on your tongue.
