Jun 11, 2008 Very light golden, little to no head. Light grass and a touch of citrus sourness. Dry at the front getting towards lemon, not all that sour though, just reminiscent of lemon. Spritzy and dry with a somewhat roasty hop presence. Might not be the freshest sample, but I think there should be more flavors noticeable than what were.

Jun 10, 2008 Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is fruity, malty and lightly dry. The flavour is fruity, hopped and mildly dry. Overall a very nice beer.

Jun 8, 2008 12 oz bottle: Pours like a pale yellow wit with a soft white head that fades. The nose is beery with soft peach and apple esthers. Spritzy carbonation is appropriate for the nice, drying body. Subtle notes of caramel and honey blend with a moderate dose of grassy German hops. Finishes dry and champagne like, with a soft punch of pear. Very refreshing on this hot, hot day.

Aroma almost champagne-like with light fruits abound, a sweetish (for lemon), gourmet candy-like lemon, pale/wheaty malts, just enough hops to sense them, and surprisingly a pleasant, carressing touch of alcohol. Flavor continues along the same lines, bittering hops come out more in a supporting role, but a very strong supporting role. Again, nice light fruit presence. Obviously very drinkable, and so very, very tasty. 3.13...bah!

May 23, 2008 Tasted 5/19/08. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. White rim of head. Toasty grainy nose. Light to medium bodied with grainy mild light malts. Slightly bitter hops. Fruity esters. Berries and candy lemon. Tart and grainy. Mildly sticky. Solid Kolsch!
