bassbuckeye (81), Ohio, USA May 13, 2008 Crisp and clean.... clear orange poor not much head and no lacing... refreshing but not my favorite. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA May 12, 2008 Suprisingly wheaty for a Kolsch, or maybe it was just me. Pours a slightly cloudy golden borderline orangeish colour with a full rising white head. Lemon, grass and yeast on the nose. Taste is smooth, fruity with a semi tart finish. BuckeyeSammy (454), Cleveland, Ohio, USA May 11, 2008 your average session beer. Average summer style kolsch. I could drink 10 of these on a warm day. Heavy carbonation, roasted malt, citrus. FlssmrBrewAlum (1079), Lisle, Illinois, USA May 11, 2008 12 oz. bottle from John’s Grocery (Iowa City, IA). Pours a hazy yet bright yellow with a lot of visible carbonation and fairly decent white head. Aromas of light hops, grass, and a touch of sweetness. Initial taste is a smooth lighter maltiness with a bit of spicy sweet hop notes. Dry finish after the sweet and hops are gone through, this was a surprising rate indeed. The fresher the better, as I’ve had this brew when it wasn’t this good. Still, a wonderful summer session beer. Yum. BrianHagmeier (257), Coralville, Iowa, USA May 10, 2008 Stinks like hell. Nice bright yellow hue and a quickly falling head. I didn’t know you were supposed to drink it from a stange or stUrzen. Learn sumpen new every day.
