anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Nov 15, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a longlasting white head. Malty bready aroma with some grassy hints. Sweet malty bready and fruity flavor with some grassy hints. Fruity malty finish with some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. ford9719 (369), Vilseck, Germany Nov 11, 2007 Bottle. Poured a very light golden color. Aroma is stinky feet. Taste is watery but could be a good beer for a real hot day. mediocremortis (3), USA does not count Nov 10, 2007 Great beer for the summer. Nice clean finish. Golden in color. Drink it in the shade on a hot day. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Nov 5, 2007 10-26-07 bottle. Cloudy golden color. Yeasty smell. Very decent kolsch! Drinkable - but just isn’t my favorite style. Strykzone (1458), Wood River, Illinois, USA Oct 28, 2007 This beer is a beautiful golden honey color with almost no head. Flavor is a super balance of malt and hop. Honey and earthyness are prominent. Tartness sits on the tip of the tongue. It is a crisp and refreshing beer. Perhaps the best Kolsch I have sampled. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 28, 2007 Thanks to Gregis for the bonused bottle from my want list. Gold with medium white head. Smell typical sweet grassy malt smell of a kolsch with a light almost chemically character about it. Taste is sweet up front, followed by a tart finish. Very drinkable, simple, but decent summer beer. Somewhat thin. uglyblond1 (173), Nebraska, USA Oct 28, 2007 Bottle. Clear light gold. A clean Kolsch with a very light hop profile, some maltiness, but not sweet, a clean dry finish. Easy to drink, quenchable and refreshing, but not complex or remarkable. Dough77 (771), Aurora, Illinois, USA Oct 12, 2007 On my old rating scale this comes through with a 3.4 maybe even 3.5 but with the new and maybe improved maybe not scaling system it scores a still sweet 3.3. Drank this on a hot afternoon waiting for my butter covered filet to finish cooking. Lite fruit flavors mixed with a bit of honey a hint of malt. Refreshing to say the least. Pretty good.
