Commercial Description:
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This beer poured a hazy, golden color with no head. The aroma was made up of lemon, orange, grass, and also some light spiciness. The flavor consisted of grass/hay, light lemony citrus notes, sweet malts, and also some noble hops. The mouthfeel was light-bodied with a good amount of carbonation. Overall, this was a decent beer. Good for easy drinking on a hot day.

Bottle. Light gold, with a quickly fading white head. Sour malt aroma, without much of a hop note. Stale malt aroma, almost a raw grain flavor as well. Heavier that I expected for a beer labeled summertime.

Bottle- tiny head, somewhat hazy, a caramel-honey aroma. An exeptionally sweet initial flavour with a sticky honey finish. Very enjoyable, I would love to try it on tap.

ON tap at Clybourn; flavor was of grain and funk. Not very good; flavor was much of the same. Pretty disappointing. Only good thing was decent hop finish.

12oz bottle wifr bought in Wi. A toated grain aroma with some citrus. Gold body with white head. The zesty lemon flavor made this beer for me. Otherwise could a been just another ordinary beer like the big 3 make.

Pours a sparkling gold with a white, frothy and lasting head that leaves decent lacing upon the glass. The nose is grainy, sour citrus, with a lightly yeasty backing. Light to medium-bodied and slick, it finishes slightly astringent. Sweet, lightly bready malt and mildly sour citrus. Crisp and refreshing. A nice summer beer and the best Kölsch that I’ve tried this summer.
