May 11, 2007 thanks bwp116. this looks like a yellower miller lite with less carbonation. smells lagerish and a bit metallic. a tiny bit hoppy, as a kolsch should be. taste is pretty poor, but better than BMC and more sessionable. i like the 5%

May 11, 2007 Pours a pale yellow color. Smells of light citrus. Tastes of a mellow citrus or fruit, finishes with a grainy malty taste. A very good, easy-drinking, summer beer.

May 10, 2007 This one was quite refreshing on this very hot day. A nice mix of light citrus, hops, and malts. Poured a light gold with a nice sized head. Went down real smooth.

May 10, 2007 I havent’ had many Kolsch offerings but I agree it’s very clean and refreshing. I thought at first I was drinking a wheat beer. I like the fruity taste but the aroma was a bit skunky. I dont’ know if that was by design or an accident in shipping and handling. Its less than pleasent aroma and slight bitterness at the end was all that kept this from being a top rated beer.

May 6, 2007 Pale yellow color with faint white head. Watery nose with hints of honey and grainy malt. Crisp mouth but watery. Grainy with a hint of sweet citrus hops.

May 6, 2007 A 12-oz bottle shared wth brewfiend at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a light yellowish amber brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves. Not much of any lacing. Aroma is light citrus, pineapple, some cotton candy, and a touch of honey. Taste has some citrus spice, well carbonated, with a watery malt finish. Another lawn mower beer? Pretty close.

May 2, 2007 Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is slight malts, slight hops and a bit of lemon zest. Flavor is a bit in the weak dept. Some lemon again and finishes bitter and watery. On a bad note this is pretty bland but on a upside you could prob drink a few on these on a warm night and it will deffinatly refresh.

May 1, 2007 Two words: Quenching and smooth. Nice, quaint malty aroma goes into a relatively boring pour, but nothing offensive. Flavor is very nice...hints of lemon with a nice balance between the malt and hop flavors. Very smooth on the palate...talk about refreshing...I could go for a 6 pack of this on my front porch on a hot summer night anytime!
