BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA May 6, 2007 Pale yellow color with faint white head. Watery nose with hints of honey and grainy malt. Crisp mouth but watery. Grainy with a hint of sweet citrus hops. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA May 6, 2007 A 12-oz bottle shared wth brewfiend at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a light yellowish amber brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves. Not much of any lacing. Aroma is light citrus, pineapple, some cotton candy, and a touch of honey. Taste has some citrus spice, well carbonated, with a watery malt finish. Another lawn mower beer? Pretty close. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA May 2, 2007 Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is slight malts, slight hops and a bit of lemon zest. Flavor is a bit in the weak dept. Some lemon again and finishes bitter and watery. On a bad note this is pretty bland but on a upside you could prob drink a few on these on a warm night and it will deffinatly refresh. valpoaj (362), Valparaiso, Indiana, USA May 1, 2007 Two words: Quenching and smooth. Nice, quaint malty aroma goes into a relatively boring pour, but nothing offensive. Flavor is very nice...hints of lemon with a nice balance between the malt and hop flavors. Very smooth on the palate...talk about refreshing...I could go for a 6 pack of this on my front porch on a hot summer night anytime! orville (160), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA Apr 19, 2007 This one really hits the spot if you want something smooth and refreshing yet with some complexity to. Too bad it leaves a harsh feeling of thickness in the throaht. Other than that this is a fine ale for a hot day, with a slightly floral aroma with almost no carbonation action. Not bad, but not the best summertime beer. To me the best smmmertime beer is Franziskaner on tap or a glass of Pilsner Urquell the world’s greatest pils. stevec (19), Galena, Illinois, USA Apr 6, 2007 Tap in Galena. Pours clear with almost no head. Sweet on first contact than fades to a light finish. Lacks character buts serves it’s purpose as a refreshing summer brew. Might as well stick with the 312, more character. ilovedarkbeer (1326), Dallas, Texas, USA Mar 30, 2007 Weak taste. Good for quenching thirst but bad for tasting beer. Very watery with minimal hop taste and next to no carbonation. Bland. AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA Mar 28, 2007 Clear golden color out of the bottle. This beer just looks like summer, a very clean crisp look. Nose was a bit dissapointing. Some very light floral, citrus, malt aromas. Nice and smooth on the palate and welll carbonated, this will probably be my go to brew this summer.
