ratman197 (3141), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 29, 2006 Bottle poured a lightly hazy yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of straw, malt and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, straw and light lemon witrh a crisp clean finish. JB175 (1654), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 29, 2006 Bottle. Light tan pour with medium head light malty-kiwi aroma. Light, crisp taste that lacks in body, but is very sessionable. Pleasant malty undertones. Not bad for the style, but not my cup of tea (or lager). ehhdayton (1113), USA Oct 13, 2006 Pours a nice clear golden with a white head. The aroma is malty. Flaovr has a slight maltiness with a crisp hop bitterness. EithCubes (2140), Indiana, USA Sep 11, 2006 Bottle. Clear golden pour with a short white head. Powerful aroma, fruity and malty with just the slightest hint of hops. Very crips - too crisp. Firm bitterness initially strikes me as good and organic but settles as something more befitting a BMC. Medium body. Fruitiness arrives only after warming. And not really a Kölsch to my taste. rdawson321 (145), USA Sep 5, 2006 A pale yellow pour, decent head. Light on hops, well balanced, with a bit of honey. Very refreshing. shrubber85 (2836), Wallhalben, Germany Sep 4, 2006 Bottle. Honey malt aroma. Bright golden yellow color with small head. Lightly sweet malt flavor with no bitterness. A very well made Koelsch - one of the best outside of Cologne. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA Sep 3, 2006 Clear golden, large puffy head, decent lacing. Aroma is grass, bread, a small amount of fruityness. Flavor is the same, very drinkable, excellent mouthfeel. Good for what it is. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA Aug 21, 2006 (06.15.06) On tap at Goose Island Brewpub, Wrigleyville, IL. Poured hazy golden yellow with small white head. No discernable carbonation. Grassy malt aroma. Light bodied beer that starts with light malt sweetness and corn flavor. Finished with light malt fade. Little to no hop presence. Clean tasting and refreshing, this is a decent drinkable malty beer.
