Commercial Description:
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

Clear gold with a good head. Slightly yeasty aroma with a sprinkling of noble hops. The flavor is mostly dry malt. This has a light and lively body. Good lawnmower beer, but not something to go for if you’re looking for flavor.

Maybe im just not familiar with the style, but I thought this was pretty "bland". The aroma is skunky, but not a huge wafing skunk, like Tsing Tao. Flavor is spicey/peppery hops, with carbonation, and a zest finish. I love summer beers for their low alcohol volumes. A good reason to make a session out of them on the boat dock. This one just didnt appeal to me.

Pours golden with good sized white fizzy head. Aroma is clean malt with spicy hops - it is very soft. Taste has grainy malt with hints of lemon that is quite gentle. The finish has tart lemon with spicy hops. Nice refreshing summer beer.

Nice easy drinking beer. Like its name suggest, it is a good beer to have while hanging around outside in the heat.

On tap. Pours a light yellow with a foamy white head. Pretty light, easy drinker all around with some citrus notes and faint hops. Yard work beer all the way.

I found this to smell a little skunky, like I do many Goose Island brews. Clear light amber, with a decent fizzy white head. Very light mouthfeel. MIld flavor, with some characteristic Goose Island hopping at the end. Better cold.

Slightly fruity taste. Light, with a pleasant taste. Perfect for a warm evening after a long day at work.

Easy on the palate, very light and refreshing. Pale malts and flowery hops. Hints of citrus fruits. Biscuity flavors. Nothing terribly exciting, but the ladies like it. Good summertime refresher.
