The aroma was a delicate combination of sweet fruit, biscuit and subtle hops. The body light with lively carbonation and a slightly dry texture. The flavor begins with a subtle, clean fruitiness. The middle is taken over by the sweet maltiness while the finish is taken over by a mild hop bitterness. thehoff (569), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA

Easy to drink. Slight bitterness and clean taste with a little sweetness. No aftertaste. Very refreshing beer. Ughsmash (3999), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 28, 2005 Clear light golden pour with short white head. Nice lacing as it went down. Aroma lacked some substance, but what was there was quite pleasant... light fruity hops and some bready malt. Well-carbonated in the mouthfeel and crisp. Flavor picked up some bright floral and citrus hop bite as well as a light-medium bready malt backbone. Quite tasty and refreshing. TheBeerOrg (1569), Kentucky, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2005 Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Quite lovely. Aroma is slightly bready, with citrus, and a hint of metallic. Body is thin and carbonation is perhaps a little too high. Accomplishes it’s purpose though. Crisp and refreshing, with assertive hops. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 3, 2005 I guess from now on I make sure there is a wheat reference on the summer brew. Man I can’t stand kolsch. Aroma has some fruit and that’s it. All downhill from there. Slightly skunky, probably good after some hot sauce and your palate is wrecked. darkerdabetter (255), Michigan, USA

It’s very light in the fruit and spice department, but that’s what makes it a good summertime brew. Very refreshing and lightly hopped. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

Got some yeast and some clean crisp bittering. This had a strange mettalic taste. Thanks Duane. redmosquito (172), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 16, 2005 How refreshing a summer beer that isn’t some type of wheat beer. Light gold in color, clear with a huge white head. Light malt aromas, biscuit and bread, faint floral hops and slight yeast, all very nice but subdued. The flavor is clean. Malt, not overly sweet or bitter, somewhat crisp with a lingering yeast flavor. This is a great summer beer, a brave effort for a micro to undertake.
