Commercial Description:
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

12 oz bottle, at my friend Eric’s wedding rehearsal dinner in Chicago. Fairly dry on the tongue, fruity nose, light sour apples, woody notes towards the end, light caramel maltiness, quite clean and quaffable.

Bottle pours light yellow, translucent, small white milkish like head, beaucoup carbonation, with attractive lacing.   Light malts on the nose, slightly sweet, with minor hints of fruit.   Slightly grassy up front, developing some grain flavors as time goes on.   Finishes light, clean, and without much trace of its initial flavors.   Not bad...   Thanks goes out to TChrome for the trade!

crisp and clean, very light. could drink a whole case of them. has kind of an annoying sharp bitterness that tastes like ear wax.

extremely pale, very large head. lightly sour aroma of hops, maybe saaz(?) and a little grapey sweetness. very thin but good mouthfeel and carbonation. very refreshing, but nothing special.

This beer didn’t stink. But it wasn’t so good either. Amber with white foamy head. Light malty sweetness amd some fruit notes to the nose. Good mouthfeel but not rich and rewarding. Clean, smooth, crisp taste. Good "Lawnmower Beer" and I mean that in a good way.

This beer is pretty good. It definitely works well as a summer beer and just makes me wonder if this brewery is available in Las Vegas at all...anyone know?

I was disappointed. This had some head and a bit of color to it, but the flavor was well below what I was hoping for in the Kolsch.

From the Tap. Wow, this was awful. I don’t know if the style is supposed to be this bland, but when the bartender handed me the glass and it looked even more watered down than most lite beers, I was wary. It had a head, that was a good sign. First drink, incredibly watery, no malt or hops. I had to hand it to my friend to confirm my suspicions. Yes, he thought it was bad too.
