Taste is better than looks or smell but I get a definite dirty-copper flavor. No real finish. Might be good on a hot summer day after mowing the lawn. TChrome (1299), Bedford, Texas, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2004 Appearance is, well, rather macro swillish. Medium pale gold color with a mostly diminishing egg white head. Aroma is restrained with some light spiciness and a mild suggestion of hops. Flavor betters the aroma and appearance. Flavors detected include decent hoppiness a bit of white pepper and the finish is dry and lightly bitter. This very well named and makes an excellent thirst quencher on hot days. civforprez (225), Galesburg, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 19, 2004 There was almost no aroma to this out of the tap at Goose Island. The beer was mild, with little to no complexity in the flavor. It was smooth and extremely drinkable, par for the course for a summertime beer. I don't think it is anything special, though. heemer77 (4303), Savannah, Missouri, USA

The hops is very light and this is obvious for the style. There is nothing exciting happening here. However, it is still very refreshing. Frank (1066), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Full mouthfeel with low carbonation. Slightly slippery. Sweet and satisfying. matta (1138), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pale golden body with a serious mound of cotton for the head, I’m talking 4” or more. Nice crisp malt aroma and flavor, lemons, fresh rising bread dough, but mostly barley and lemon zest. The finish is smooth as a freshly luffaed butt; this is texture I’m talking about not aroma or flavor! Dry- lemony- mostly hoppy –yeasty finish- I like it!

Looked exactly as it should, smelled fresh and hoppy, tasted fresh and hoppy too. If you can find some, definitely give this beer a try. It’s a great quaffing beer, nothing too complex, just a simple, refreshing and tasty ale to drink ice cold on a hot summer day. It was a little couldy but it had a beautiful white head and laced wonderfully.
The smell was ok. It was full of grains and a little malt.
The taste reminded me of what straw would taste like. It tastes like there was a lot of wheat malt used in this. There wasn't much sweetness and it wasn't very refreshing to me.
Not enjoyable.
