Commercial Description:
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

Light goldern beer with little head. Refreshing, crisp and drinkable with a lemony taste. Little malty present but a nice but light hoppy bight. Not bad.

Very light golden, little to no head. Light grass and a touch of citrus sourness. Dry at the front getting towards lemon, not all that sour though, just reminiscent of lemon. Spritzy and dry with a somewhat roasty hop presence. Might not be the freshest sample, but I reckon there should be more flavors noticeable than what were.

Straw colored, hoppy sulphury nose, well carbonated. Refreshing with good malt/hop balance but with soft palate and dry finish.

Fruity, flowery, malty and sweet aroma, with notes of honey, very faintly spicy hop and pineapple(?). Medium golden yellow color, with a slight but creamy head. Flavor is initially malty, sweet and honeyish, with a touch of spice soon after and a very lightly bittering finish. Light bodied, fizzy on the palate and a bit watery. Refreshing, though.

Pours an amber with some yellow/orange tinges. Little to no head and quite clear. Aroma smells slightly citrusy, slightly crisp and yeasty. Begins spicy, with some dry citrus fruit tones and moderate acidity. Only mildly sweet, but in the finish there was a candyish malt that seemed a bit too powerful and unbalanced. It was slightly sour and cloying after I had had 2 or 3 of these beers. Aftertaste was not good, and had this old, syrupy malt flavor lingering. Carbonation added too much of a peppery texture. Medium bodied is a stretch.
