A chilled hazy golden color with a modest white head that quickly diminished to a film and a foamy ring, but left some web-like, clingy lacing. The aroma was light Pils malt and a hint of apple core. The flavor added soft malt and low hop bitterness. The carbonation was fizzy and the finish offered some dryness. A crisp, sessionable brew. OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA

Hops, grain and fruit in the smell. Nice crisp flavor. I was pretty impressed with this one. A nice summer brew. Maverick34 (698), New York, USA

Pale orange, brief head. Pleasant light ale aroma, fruitier than I
expected from a kolsch, but definitely has that watered-down feel.
Sweet palate, soft carbonation. Weird taste, a bit like a watered-down
pale ale aromatics-wise, but with slightly lagery hints to the malty
body. Quite biting stinging hopping, again not really an authentic
kolsch. There’s some swimming-pool water there too. Some paperiness
in the finish, a touch of pepper too. A curious mix. What I reckon
is that they took a 7%-ish pale ale, and mixed it with some cheap 2%
low-alcohol pils. Voila - 4.5% "kolsch". Prove me wrong... punkrkr27 (616), Berkley, Michigan, USA

The aroma is light grains, pear, grape and yeast. Crisp but fruity flavor with notes of bread, lemon, pear, white grape, and apple with a slight yeastiness to the finish. Medium thin body with lots of carbonation. kddewees (33), Muncie, Indiana, USA

Pale, slightly hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma is soapy lemony with kind of unfermented sugar, wort note (although it is the most likely from yeast). Light palate, crisp mouthfeel, also a bit oily. Pale malty with light lemony hops. Refreshing, but just too boring and watery for being a good Kölsch. This is a bit like pale lagers of mainstream brewpubs. Could have more hops at least.
