| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Clear pale golden in color with a frothy white head that leaves nice lacing. Bubbles continually rising in the beer. Appearance makes me think this will be a refreshing beer. Sweet malty aroma, like sweet bread, is light. Flavor is light as well, malts with a banana honey undertone. Mildly watered down. Somewhat medium bodied, coats the tongue nicely but leaves the mouth a little sticky. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2009 12 oz bottle. Clear straw brown with a perky white head. Nose is dough, corn and faint lemon. Foamy then kind of slick. Taste is mild tangerine with a squirt of lime. Dry finish with hints of sweetness. bacchanalia (68), milton, Cambridgeshire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2009 From the bottle, nice bit of malt & slight lemon peel on the nose. Palate nicely rounded, soft barley coming through that fades into dryness. It’s the Ronseal of beers, a summer beer & that’s it, nothing fancy but would be very pleasant in the hot weather & thus a beer I shall not be revisiting much in England. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 12, 2009 Thanks (I think) to rustychiles for the share on this. Aroma: corn, corn, corn, corn, corn (mild vomit?). Taste is quite bubbly with with some light pils and quite a bit of corn. The aftertaste is better than the beer itself. Somewhat like cornbread in a good way. Better than Bud, but not much. Looks cool. rustychiles (1022), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 5, 2009 On tap at Wrigleyville Goose Island. Poured gold with a white head. Aroma was of barley and malts. Flavor had some underlying sweet notes, but other than that, quite basic. fidelis83 (713), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Pours cloudy pale yellow with a 3 finger fluffy white head that has good retention. Aroma is straw, sweet grass, hints of apricot, some bready yeast notes, citrus and a touch of lime soda. Flavor is sweet and somewhat sour citrus to start, fruity yeast esters in the middle, and some nice lemongrass and hay to finish. Palate is thin and fairly sweet all the way through with a slightly slick feel toward the back. Good stuff overall, I really can find much fault in it as a nice summertime quencher, it’s not the most interesting or complex... but that’s not what it’s here for. Light, thirst quenching, and delicious. I should probably add that I have had this stuff a number of times in the past and it has never tasted this good. I think it probably goes south pretty quickly. soccer290 (135), Highland Park, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 2, 2009 12 oz bottle. Had this a few times, and it is a wonderful session beer that you can drink straight from the bottle, but for this tasting, I poured it into a glass. Pours a dark, yet pale yellow, with a small white head that dies quickly. Smells of VERY light hops, some malt, a little bit of fruit (reminds me of tangerine), and maybe some yeast. Tastes of that fruit taste, a little malt, a hint of hops, and thats about it. Very light, drinkable. Sessionable, I’m a lightweight and I could drink a 6 pk of this is in one sitting, but it is nice during the summer.
