Pours a light golden color. Very clear. Pretty well carbonated. About half finger white head. Quickly dissipates. No retention, light lacing.

Aroma is banana bread. Malty, yeasty, banana bread.

Taste is light lemon, still tasting banana bread. There’s some earthy hops in there.

Mouthfeel is light and watery. A little too watery. Very light, very refreshing. Very mild, barely bitter.

Overall, this isn’t that great. I’ve got this in my glass, and I’m in no hurry to drink it. As it warms it gets a little better. Yeah, I guess it’s good for summertime. But I’m not going to stock my fridge with it. I think I’d take Bud Light over this, any day.

12 oz bottle from a mixed 12pk. Clear, pale golden, fizzy short lived head, but good lacing.
Crisp and clean mostly, does have some light sweetness, and a touch of grassy hops. Very refreshing on this 118 degree day.

Pours a clear straw golden color with a medium white foamy head. The aroma is quite bready and a farm house aroma. The taste is earthy hops with only a small hop kick. There is a slight amount of citrus and some breadiness. The finish is quite dry and crisp.

8 week old bottle into a pilsner. A: Clear bright gold with big bubbles feeding a small white head that fades fast. S: Sort of apple wine scent.Very light. T: Dry grainy and winey. Not so much apple as white grape. M: Crisp and dry with fairly high carbonation. Very clean and refreshing. O: Not much smell, not much taste, but looks nice and feels good going down. Not bad but a bit below average.

Bottle. Pours a clear straw color with a fluffy white head. Mildly carbonated. Aromas of citrus, slight skunkiness and bready notes. Flavors are fruity with lemon, sweet corn, grass, and bready tones. Peppery finish. As the beer warms, the fruity flavors really blossom. Clean mouthfeel. A very nice kolsch.
