| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Bottle. Light tan pour with medium head light malty-kiwi aroma. Light, crisp taste that lacks in body, but is very sessionable. Pleasant malty undertones. Not bad for the style, but not my cup of tea (or lager). Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 3, 2005 I guess from now on I make sure there is a wheat reference on the summer brew. Man I can’t stand kolsch. Aroma has some fruit and that’s it. All downhill from there. Slightly skunky, probably good after some hot sauce and your palate is wrecked. TheBeerOrg (1596), Kentucky, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2005 Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Quite lovely. Aroma is slightly bready, with citrus, and a hint of metallic. Body is thin and carbonation is perhaps a little too high. Accomplishes it’s purpose though. Crisp and refreshing, with assertive hops. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2006 From a twist cap long neck brown bottle with a best before date on the back label, 06/20/06.
Made a good appearance, poured a slightly hazy pale golden with a nice foamy white head that settled into a thin foamy lacing, fair amount of sticking, good carbonation.
Had a tasty nose of dry cereal and crackers, grassy and herbal with a subtle fruitiness at the edges.
A crisp, dry and smooth light bodied mouth feel, good summer drinkability.
Refreshing tasting, a dry cereal and grainy maltiness, herbal with a light lemon fruitiness in the middle and a dry grainy finish with a nice grassiness lingering in the palate.
Maybe because I worked up a good sweat before I tried this beer from Goose Island, but I thought it quite enjoyable and a good summer brew, especially on a hot summer day.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 16, 2006 Pours a very light and dirty straw color with a white frothy head. Aromas are of grass and lemon, but a bit of a scuzzy smell that I can’t quite figure out. Flavor is similar... there’s something that disagrees with me in this one, but it’s hard to pin down. In spite of all that, it is very crisp and has a light texture that is nice, just the aroma and the finish are not going to make me a fan. mjs (1563), Helsinki, Finland

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light yellow with a white head with a lot of carbonation. Aroma of light fruits, lemon, lager yeast. Flavor of light fruits, wheat, spices. Very light, fruity, and refreshing. Enjoyable beer. 17thfloor (1528), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 9, 2007 Kolsch might be one of my favorite type of lagers. Pale yellow pour with medium sudsy white head. Aroma of grass. Flavor is very light like a dry cider. Finish is slight hops & some bitter. Body is crisp which compliments the flavor so I gave that a 4. One of the better summer attempts I’ve had this year...
