Commercial Description:
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

Bottle. High and lasting creamy white head leaving nice lacings. Clear yellow body. Mild and sweet apple lemon aroma. Mild sweet apple pear flavor with a pleasant hops bitterness. Low carbonation, long aftertaste. Quite refreshing

A 12-oz bottle shared wth brewfiend at Cellars Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a light yellowish amber brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves. Not much of any lacing. Aroma is light citrus, pineapple, some cotton candy, and a touch of honey. Taste has some citrus spice, well carbonated, with a watery malt finish. Another lawn mower beer? Pretty close.

Clear light golden pour with short white head. Nice lacing as it went down. Aroma lacked some substance, but what was there was quite pleasant... light fruity hops and some bready malt. Well-carbonated in the mouthfeel and crisp. Flavor picked up some bright floral and citrus hop bite as well as a light-medium bready malt backbone. Quite tasty and refreshing.

courtesy of Viggo. Good hop aroma. Pours a fluffed up retaining head, with lace remaining in glass.. Smooth easy creamy drink, creamy and well-malted, well-carbonated. Good citrus fruity zesty sweet.

Bottle (12oz). Hazy yellow with a smallish fizzy white head. Mild aroma, grain, honey, light yeast, hint of paper, glue and apple. Taste is pretty nice - light juicy malt, a hint of fruit-sweetness, and nicely balancing mild herbal hops. Mouthfeel is watery, a little flat, not very carbonated, and the papery character re-emerges as an odd aftertaste - not bad, but a little disappointing ...

Light gold color, medium head. A medium bodied Kolsch. Malty and lightly hopped. Some citrus flavor, smooth taste. Lots of flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Very nice beer. Light and refreshing, yet lots of flavor.

Bottle. Light golden yellow, small white head. Pleasant mild grainy aroma. Flavour is quite light, mild grainy malt. Average palate. Pleasant summer quaff but not very exciting.
