orville (137), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA Apr 19, 2007 This one really hits the spot if you want something smooth and refreshing yet with some complexity to. Too bad it leaves a harsh feeling of thickness in the throaht. Other than that this is a fine ale for a hot day, with a slightly floral aroma with almost no carbonation action. Not bad, but not the best summertime beer. To me the best smmmertime beer is Franziskaner on tap or a glass of Pilsner Urquell the world’s greatest pils.
cb23 (73), St. louis, Missouri, USA Jul 25, 2008 Bottle. This is a very refreshing Kolsch-style brew. Perfect balance of malt with a dash of hops. Almost reminiscent of a wheat beer, except with more flavor. Would definitely recommend on a hot summer day. hopdog (4444), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 25, 2008 12oz bottle, bottled on 05/21/08. Poured a medium and lighlty hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromsa of grains, wheat, and some citrus. Tastes follow suit. Thinner body. rudolf (1543), Buffalo, New York, USA Jul 12, 2008 Bottle. Goodbar Beer Club. Yellowy gold, white head. Nose is dougy malts, light lemon. Simple but nice. Flavor is lemon, doughy malt, undefined fruits. A hint of richer malt in the finish. Very good. Acknud (557), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA Jul 8, 2008 After a hot day mowing this is a great beer. Very light with a small head. Wheat aroma and taste with a slight bitter hop finish. Bigmmartin (137), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottle. Excellent summer time brew. A nice German lager with a typical lager aroma characteristic. Clear golden in color with a white head. Flavor is lightly hoppy and fruity, but mostly lagerish. Similar to some pilsners, but with a more crisp and refreshing finish. Mild overall.
