COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

I thought this was a good summer brew. Poured yellow with a white head. Aroma of sweet buttery malt. Like candy but refreshing. Light. Easy drinking.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow color. Easy drinking smooth easy session beer. I'd have this at a BBQ or a summer game ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Total Wine.

Light gold pour. Slightly floral aroma, bit of grass. Sweet grains, a little bit fruit, but not really a full on kolsch vibe here. Drinkable enough light summer beer.

Sour scents of grass and potatoes. Pours a pale gold. White quick dissipating head. Tastes distinctly crisp and light. Low carbonation. Good kölsch.

Average at best. Really bland flat backend taste. Wish it had a bit more fruit like light aftertaste. This is just a classier Miller lite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice yeast nose with malty opening flavor. A fairly standard kölsch, glad to see this variety becoming popular.

Pours a light golden color. Very clear. Pretty well carbonated. About half finger white head. Quickly dissipates. No retention, light lacing.

Aroma is banana bread. Malty, yeasty, banana bread.

Taste is light lemon, still tasting banana bread. There’s some earthy hops in there.

Mouthfeel is light and watery. A little too watery. Very light, very refreshing. Very mild, barely bitter.

Overall, this isn’t that great. I’ve got this in my glass, and I’m in no hurry to drink it. As it warms it gets a little better. Yeah, I guess it’s good for summertime. But I’m not going to stock my fridge with it. I think I’d take Bud Light over this, any day.

12 oz bottle from a mixed 12pk. Clear, pale golden, fizzy short lived head, but good lacing.
Crisp and clean mostly, does have some light sweetness, and a touch of grassy hops. Very refreshing on this 118 degree day.
