COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kolsch, the clean and refreshing beer style of Cologne, Germany, quenches summertime thirst. This pale golden ale with a lightly fruity aroma is cold-conditioned or lagered after its primary fermentation. More simply, our Summertime uses only the finest malts and German hops to create the perfect beer for hot Summer days and warm Summer nights.

Pours pale golden into the glass, with a medium-size white head that leaves fizzy lacing. The nose is of grain, citrus, and grass. Flavors are light, with grain, sour orange and coriander, with a finish that fades to grassy bitterness. A very light malt base carries the whole enterprise. Light body and lively mouthfeel begs for quaffing quickly. Summertime represents the style well. This beer is for drinking, not for contemplating.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a hazy yet somewhat clear golden body that yields a small white one finger head that dies within a minute. No lacing is seen and carbonation sporadicly rises. The smell had some malts and hops balanced very well. Some lemon and grassy notes stay in the background. The taste centered around the malts with the hops moving to the background. The lemon comes out a bit stronger than it did in the smell. The taste gets sweeter as the beer warms. On the palate, it sat very light that led to a smooth feel in the mouth, the carbonation leaves a mild sting on the tongue. It is a very drinkable beer. Overall, this is a nice grill side beer that is nice to have in the Summer.

bottle. golden with one finger head. Light bodied summer beer. Crisp, but not much flavor going on. Solid for what it is though.

Cerveza pale ale color ambar oscuro, aroma frutales igual que el sabor, un tanto amarga pero se sustituye por el sabor que deja en el paladar.

Not the best Kolsch you’ll ever have but it’s a great representation of the style. The pleasingly mellow grain taste and the refreshing, light body are every bit as authentic as the mild German hops. Summertime doesn’t reinvent the wheel but is true to the style. As the name suggests, this would be the perfect beer for hot, sunny weather.

It’s like Blue Moon but has a more appropriate amount of sweetness. Too bad summer only lasts three months a year.

This ale pours golden/blonde with a thick white head. It has a strong wheat aroma with a hint of a bitter indeterminate citrus. It has just the right bitter hops notes for me. (Knowing that I like this beer and that it’s IBU is around 20 is really useful when looking for other beers.) It really is the perfect summer brew. It is not too heavy (and not too light) it is well carbonated giving that great fizz on the tongue. Great beer. This is grass cutting beer!

Just awful. It's a poor excuse for even a fake microbrew. Watery an played right down the middle of the hop/malt line. Which is not to say it's well-balanced. No, it's just boring. I will be avoiding this brewery from here on out.

Poured light yellow with small head that disappeared quickly. Aroma was fruity as I opened the bottle, taste is mildly hoppy with a slight bitterness with a light malt flavor. Not bad, but milder than I expected.

Bottle. Smells mild and vague. Pours yellow with a little head. Taste is refreshing, but not very complex. Drinkable, but not very enjoyable.

Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head. Aroma is light malts, sweet citrus notes. Flavor is light citrus, some grain. Light, refreshing when it’s hot.
