Ten Hills traces its story to Elk Mountain Farms in Idaho, famous for growing hops of exceptional quality and character. With hops from the "first ten hills" grown for Goose Island at Elk Mountain, we crafted a pale ale that delivers both a herbal and citrus hop character. We hope youíll find the intriguing balance of flavors in this beer to be truly unparalleled. Cheers!

I found this one middle of the road. Very lemony sweetness upfront thats a little offputting then some hop bite and linger that tastes a little bready and earthy. Lightish mouthfeel. Overall meh.

Bottle poured amber color with large, off-white head and excellent lacing. Beer has a very earthy aroma with hints of pine and grass in the hops. The light carbonation dances on the tongue. Light body that finishes smoothly, the grassy hops lingering faintly on the tongue long after the beer is gone.

[Bottle] Amber color with a soapy white head. Nice hoppy aroma mixes with caramel and light grainy maltiness. Flavors of lemongrass, floral hops, perfume, caramel, toffee and white bread. Dry and somewhat grainy finish. Nice lacing is left over on the glass. Pretty decent overall.

Pours dark amber. Great creamy white head. Aroma of sweet bread and pine. Taste of sweet bready malts, pine and citrus hops. Malty cereal finish. Very drinkable, yet too sweet for this guy. I can do 2 in a row max.

Good beer all around. Good color, aroma, body, and taste. Itís pretty straight forward too. Almost like an IPA. Pretty hoppy, no crazy aftertaste or anything like that. I find I can drink quite a few of these without getting tired of them. Itís a good spring seasonal brew. Iíll definitely buy this again when I want something pretty straight forward but with a flavorful hoppy taste. I keep thinking how great this beer would be while sitting in a lawn chair and grilling some meat on my back porch.

Drank the first pint thinking I was drinking sumpin sumpin. No alarms went off, so thatís pretty impressive. Or thatís how long since I had a sumpin. Clear amber with a thinnish head on tap at Howard street. Slightly roasted aroma and flavor. Now this beer is annoying me. Good head. Sweet aroma, slightly fruity. Flavor more complex and a bit hoppy. Good, very good. Bit of a sour finish. Apple flavor hints.
