Bought a twelver at jewel for $12.99, poured around 9 into my pint glass. Tastes bitter and some sweet, then hops. Itís not quite rambler but better than 312.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle a medium amber hue, aroma moderate, light citrus hops, some pale and caramel malt, and with a touch of light dough. Flavour of fresh herbal and floral hops, crackery malt, citrus zest, slight grapefruit juice. Yes quaffable, however decent, yet unremarkable.

On tap at East Ave. MacGregorís with Dan. Pours a dark bronze color with thick head that fades to some lacing. Aroma fairly mild blend of citrus and malt sweetness, floral with a hint of grain. Taste of citrus, malt and caramel sweetness and a bit herbal. Some bitterness and a clean fi nish. Moderate body, crisp, clean and refreshing.

Bottle: Pour is golden amber with a modest, fine bubbled white head into this glass - it retains on the average side, with light spotting presence here. The nose has an earthen note, with caramel malt moving to citrus zest and florals by my estimation. The flavor profile is lacking however - I mean , i picked this up at the grocery store in a pinch and expected a middling experience - and this is it. Initial is hopper bitter, feint pine, caramel malts, and it moves to a mineral note and fades into oblivion for me - Move along, nothing to see here.

12 oz bottle shared by huhzubendah, thanks Matt! Pours a clear burnished amber with a tan head that fades to a wisp. Aroma is sweet malty and mild floral hop character. Flavor is a mild balanced pale with bright carbonation. Mild caramel sweetness in the finish.

This ale poured a medium amber colour with minimal head. Scents include grass, spruce, caramel and light grapefruit. First swig was smooth with nice carbonation. Flavours of citrus/grass hops, caramel and leaves. Finish is medium bitter with flavours of citrus and caramel lingering.

12 oz. bottle from Cash Wise in Watford City. Appearance: finger light tan head, copper color, clear, ok lacing. Aroma: heavy caramel, light grain, floral, light grass. Palate: medium body, average carbonation, light sticky texture, bitter finish. Taste: sweet caramel, with some floral and grassy bitterness winding its way into the back end of the taste. Overall, a little too much caramel for me, but the balance is still pretty good. Hops just are not as big on the nose.

6-pack purchased at Happy Liquor. Deep orange and clear appearance with a diminishing beige head. Aroma of pine, herbs, resinous hops, light citrus notes, toasted grains and a lingering staleness. Similar flavor, mild to medium hop bitterness and mild, musty, malty sweetness. Medium body, nice, crisp, full mouth feel with ample carbonation. Itís not bad, but itís most likely been sitting on the shelf since early Summer or longer.
