3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
5th June 2016: 12oz bottle while on holiday. Golden bronze pour, off-white head. Citrus and floral notes in the nose from this hop dominated beer. Those hops with their citrusy aroma also rule the taste with a semi-bitterness front and dry finish. Decent enough.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice golden orangish color. Aroma is big citrus/piney hops with some floral and fruit. Flavor of a classic pale, mildly sweet malt action followed by great hop flavor bite, smooth throughout and a great finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bronze color with both herbal and fruit aroma and taste. Alcohol pushes it into IPA range, but 48 IBUs makes it an APA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Btl pours a clear bronze color with a fluffy off white head that lingers for quite some time leaving spots of lace on glass. Aromas of biscuits, herbs, spice with some flowery perfume notes. Tastes of sweet caramel, lemon, tangerine and bread. Tingly almost watery mouthfeel, light body, adequate carbonation and a bitter dry finish. This beer is nicely balanced but it’s to bland for me.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly cloudy, dark golden orange color with apricot colored edges and a two finger, pillowy off-white head that very slowly settles into a thick, lasting ring. Good retention, taking a while to settle and leaving sporadic streaks of soapy lacing behind.
Floral, perfume-like aroma with grassy, spicy hops and resinous pine countered by subtle citrus and a sweet caramel malt presence. Some fresh cut grass, sticky weed and pine needle followed by grapefruit and lemon zest. Caramel malt backbone with some toast, toffee and biscuit. Nothing out of the ordinary but has a decent hop presence.
Medium body with a blast of dry, sticky bitterness that lingers over the sweeter notes and caramel malt backbone into a slightly boozy, bone dry finish. Surprisingly hop forward with resinous bitterness, grassy pine needle and spruce tip countered by subtle citrus/tropical fruit sweetness and a caramel malt backbone. Some grapefruit and citrus rind sweetness cutting through the bitterness along with caramel, toffee, light fruit, bread and biscuit. Only 6.2% but there’s noticeable boozy heat in the finish slightly taking away from the hop flavors. Decently balanced with nice bitterness but it’s a touch too boozy for my liking and could use a stronger citrus/tropical fruit character.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from QClub at home. Clearish dark amber pour. Aroma is quite malty. Some apple juice aroma - faded hops? Taste is similar. Maybe not so fresh. Not great. Somewhat hoppy, drowned out by sweet cereal malt.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tastes like a mix of noble and similar vienna lager type hops with a few more bitter hop elements to hang on the tongue. Caramel and pale malt blend likely. Reasonably representation of the pale ale style with just the barest hint of amber swampiness. Almost like a blend of a SNPA with a Boston Lager and a bit of its own thing. Well balanced. Some less than reputable brewers might try to label this an IPA, a style which it would be a very poor representation of, to move units, but its an above average pale ale, which it is correctly labeled as.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It's a good beer, but the bitterness is a little too much front and center and also hangs on the palate too long. I do like the warm feeling from the alcohol. The bitterness is just to dominant.
