Flight pour on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a ricer orange amber hue, gentle haze, healthy deep glow overall. A frothy offwhite head dies to a ring, laces ok. Aromas are gentle toast, bread, and biscuits. Oranges, gentle florals, kisses of spice, earthy hops. Mellow and inviting. Initial is lighter end of the fold in body, showing toast, biscuits, and bread. Dry malty elements offer toast, earthy dry florals and grass. Gentle spice, light body, quite drinkable. Middle offers some toast, a bit of girth, but still light, biscuits and bready. Finish is spicy and dry, richer earthy hop slant lingers on. I enjoyed this a good bit. A touch of darker thicker malts mix with good earthy hops, gentle spice into the finish. Nice.

Draft at goose, pours amber gold white head aroma Munich and toasted malt, flavors are sweet Munich bready tones, earthy notes, cereal. Fluffy sweet bready notes, sticky caramel notes. toasty finish. Cloying for the style. Meh.

Draft at Clybourn. Pours a nice amber with a hazy quality. Persistent white head. Nose is grainy with some light dms. Some corny notes. Toasty Munich comes through as well. On tasting, moderate sweetness, hint of fruit and balanced bitterness. Toasty Munich on the palate as well. Solid.
