3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, some pale and caramel malts, and some dough. Flavor the same with a lot of malts and a good amount of hops. Average to smooth texture. A decent beer, but not the best of its style.

This one is the gas. Tastes like rubbing alcohol with some hopps. Has a slight hint of citrus. Smells like alcohol. Had at home

A nice Imperial IPA. Amber color. Aroma of citrus, alcohol and some malt. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, pine hops and sweet-ish malt. I’m usually not much of a Goose Island fan, but I’ve enjoyed this one enough to get another 4 pack. The Frank Lloyd Wright artwork is what caught my eye at the store - FLW and beer....a great combo!

Really excited about this one, being from Chicago. Beautiful color, moderate lacing. Aroma is fantastic. Fruity and resiny. Taste is a balanced, hop powered yet fruity wave of deliciousness. Four pack for $9.99. Great value for a great beer. Try if you can.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear orange-red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, some slight earth, nice orange, mango, slight pineapple in there into a bit of booze, lemon. Taste is a mix of lemon, grass, pineapple, orange, and mango into a bit of caramel, toffee, finishing fairly bitter, slightly boozy, slightly tropical fruity.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a deep golden almost copper color with a finger of sticky eggshell foam. The nose is interesting, bready malts, citrus, pine, musky melon. The palate follows with nice layers of dank earthy fruit, pine, citrus and a round clean malt backbone. Pretty nice drinker for 9% !

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazed, orange color with a 1/4 inch, very dense cream colored head. Aroma is very hefty with a large orange, grapefruit and pine nose to the brew with a sweet malt background to bolster the hops presence. Flavor is well balanced with an early pine and orange melding slowly transitioning too some light noble hops-like grassy notes and a smooth sweet, lightly toasted malt finish. Body is modest with a slightly crisp feel, mild amounts of carbonation and as it warms, a semi-noticeable extracted hop oil flavor (assume its a combination of the high hop and high alcohol). Overall a pretty good brew but nothing out of this work unique. Just another big hopped, high alcohol beer thats well crafted.

Well balanced hop to malt taste. Fresh lemon, grapefruit, and slight pine smell. Beautiful amber with ample carbonation. Hop bitterness up front with a caramel malt finish. Nice Imperial IPA that keeps the balance while enjoying the hop bitterness.
