4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours copper with a slight white head. Aroma is citrus over a warmish light treacle. Med body or better. Flavor is very citrus with suggestions of pine. And odd fruits. Not like Mosaic, but makes me think of that. Heck, I’m even imagining a little anise. This is very different and unusual. Finishing hoppy and bitter and pretty dry. Quite nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper / golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, citrus notes and lots of biscuity malt notes. Flavour is fairly unbalanced and rugged, unfortunately skewed towards the sweet malt, cereal malt, and grassy hops. Doesn’t seem as sweet at first, but leaves a slight cloying quality after a while. It’s got some rough edges, but it’s okay.
