4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Comes out of the tap hazy amber with a nice fine-bubbled buff head. Aroma is quite hoppy, as resiny as woody. Flavor is very hoppy, in this case a little more woody, slightly sweet, with citrus and evergreen hints.firm texture has fizz to spare. Get goosed!

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours with a very nice white head very easily. Taste is potent but not overly alcoholic. Very nice "grapefruit" hoppy flavor.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
The Illinois has a thin, bone-colored head, a clear, burnt orange appearance, some bubbles, and minimal lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of sweet, sugary, malt, and fruity, hop resins. Taste is of those elements, with a very forward and robust hop oil bitterness. Sweetness and white bread are also noticed. Mouthfeel is high medium, and The Illinois finishes puckering dry. RJT

Very refreshing, lighter colored DIPA. Grapefruit and zesty lemon effect. Very hoppy, fruity and floral.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
My rating is pretty on point for this gem. And yes, it’s damn good. Hitting a max of 9% , this brew is incredibly smooth. Nice Mellon, citrus scent along with a mouthful of candy resin orange peel. A must have , if you’re going for a strong IPA. Cheers!

on tap at a tap take over at Provisions Market, great coppery amber pour into a snifter, wonderfully hoppy aroma. Taste is a delicious blend of multiple types of hops, a little bitter, a little bit sweet but all together delicious. This beer is just dandy, FLW would be proud to have his magnificent mile high masterpiece realized in this beer

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A full bodied beer, copper pour, thin head, easy on the palate despite the 9% ABV, a great double IPA.

Four pack into the pint glass, nice orange foamy glass of beer. Lacing to the tune of 6 drinks per pint. Very nice, I lived in the neighborhood of FLW which is Riverside, IL and this beer has the creativity of his architecture. Very unassumingly strong, before you know it all 4 bottles are gone.

Tap pour - @ RHP. Pours gold-orange with nice, big, tight tan head. Pine, citrus, orange, and creamy vanilla notes on the nose. Incredible pop of hops, nice and bitter, oranges all over my palate like a sickness. Slightly dry finish, medium-full bodied. Yes!
