Full, yeasty, a bit of malt, and a good bit of spice. Smooth with a fairly long finish.

Slightly hazy light golden under a persistent white foamy cap.. Gorgeous aroma of full toasty dough with a blonde malt sweetness and robust grassy pepperiness with some well rounded soft fruity tones. Lovely full flavor with mellow tones of blonde grainy toast, earthy pepper, a delightful semibitter grassy tone and a well rounded back side. MMM. This is what Tripels ought to be. Estery yet doughy and balanced.

Bold yellow to slightly orange pour, medium clarity and a half inch of white head. Bright citrus and belgian yeast aroma: orange and lemon, soap, coriander, bit of clove, banana ester, cream. Average carbonation, frothy mouthfeel, finishes somewhat bitter. Taste is assertive and somewhat boozy. Strong flavor of orange rind mixed with cracked pepper, lemon, and some soapyness from the belgian yeast. Amped up triple with definite contributions from american hops.

Bottle from Xroads. Pours out a light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of sweet fruity yeast, grain, dough, mild sugar and some spices. Taste has some odd herbal notes, fruity yeast, sweet pear, light bitter notes, undercooked bread, some floral notes. Missing something.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange body. Active bubbles gone wild inside the glass. Big, foamy white head. While there is some classic Tripel candi sugar and yeast tones, there is also a some unruly hairspray tones that remind me more of a Belgian IPA. Not bad, but would have probably been better traditionally hopped. Grew on me some as I sipped at it. Quality ingredients can’t be denied.

Keg at Top Hops - NYC. Pours clear, bright yellow-gold with a lasting, creamy white head. Prominent Belgian yeast hit in the aroma with some pale, lightly doughy bread, zesty lemon. Medium to big sweet flavor with more yeast character, some phenols, bubblegum, melon, ripe lemon. Low bitterness. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming finish with further ripe citrus, yeast, somewhat dry and dough wheat bread. Not bad overall.
