3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle from BOTW (Rochester), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear golden with a fluffy white head.
Aroma: Strong fruity esters with a little spiciness, sweet, floral honey, dank citrus, almost seems Bretty..., some stinging booze.
Palate: Medium+ body, fairly full, soft carbonation, a little sloppy.
Flav.: Rich fruitiness, sweet light malts, honey, lightly spicy, somewhat boozy, has a hint (or more) of Brett, bready; lightly sweet with low-moderate carbonation, fairly assertive alcohol and a decently spicy/fruity finish.
Not too bad. More dry than many American Belgians, which I like.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle, Andersons. Pours pale yellow, little head; no lacing. Aroma peppery, grainy, dry, banana, clove, yeast. Belgian yeast, hints of orange peel. Sticky but not cloyingly sweet. Never ever would have pegged it at 9%, so well done there.

Draft 11/22/14 (Ballydoyle Aurora)-Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, floral, and pepper. Taste of more hops, spices, and fruit. This full bodied brew is well balanced and quite tasty.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle in Fl- poured in tonic pint as suggested. Floral aroma. First sip was mediocre but definitely grew on me with each sip. Think bourbon stout I had prior had made the adjustment odd. Once I was into the beer, I could relish in its flavors- very light. Not quite what I expect for tripel but delicious none the same

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 Oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of overripe fruit, cantaloupe, citrusy yeast and some sulfur / burnt tire. Flavor is sweet with cereal grain, orange, floral hop. Finishes with long herby hop linger. Medium-full body with a thick mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, a decent triple. On the sweeter side, but ok balance.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is sweet wheaty malts and bubblegum with some fruit.
The flavor is sweet wheaty malts, with some fruit and bubblegum and some harsh medicinal alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
Overall, a bit of a mess - overly sweet with harsh alcohol.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The Ogden pours a mostly cloudy orange yellow with a nice off-white head that lasts a good while. The aroma is citrus with bread and light caramel. The flavor favors citrus but also contains bread and caramel. Overall this is a very nice beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Moderate grain for the malt, heavy grapefruit and lemon peel for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with pear, white wine and pepper. Heas is large, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet, acidic and bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily, with a lively carbonation and a lightly alcoholic finish. A nice Abbey Tripel with fruity spicy aromas and well balanced flavors.
