Very pale golden beer. Aroma of spiced sweets. I can taste almost as caramel banana with cinnamon. My pretty good.

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Hazy dirty golden amber, 2" white head, strips and strings of lace. Aroma of malt and bread. Taste is sweet malt and toffee that adds spice, yeast and carbonation on the swallow, following that with noticeable hops in a long fizzy, bitter finish. An American take on an Abbey Tripel. Recommended.

On tap, poured into a snifter. The aroma is a mellow, tropical and grassy note with a dark spice to it. Some undertones include a light floral note, and some cookie dough comes in late. It pours a brilliant orange yellow and is topped by a dense, white foam retaining a wispy surface, moderate ring, and a moderate-light lace. The taste is a combination of medium high sweet with a medium level of bitter. The sweetness gets stronger and bitterness wanes as it warms. The beer is thick and oily with a soft fizz carbonation and a medium full body that’s tropical and spicy with additional notes of banana and cookie dough late. It finishes zippy with a spice kick followed by sweet citrus and light bread. The aftertaste is a clean, fresh spice.

Originally rated on 11/30/14. Pours a clear golden with light white head and light white lacing. Nose of banana, clove, citrus, Belgian candy, fresh bread, light hops, and alcohol on the nose. Flavors of nice Belgian candy up front, banana and citrus fruits on the back, some lemon grass herbal notes, and a light hop and clove flavor on the aftertaste. Overall its a nice twist to the style, i liked it.

Not a fan of the style, but one of the better beers in its class. Yeasty fruity like most triple beers. Pours cloudy yellow with a white head. Smells like fruit. Had at goose island wrigleyville

On draft. Dark golden color with one finger head. Dark fruit, pear aroma. Pear, pepper, candy taste. Not my favorite of the style, but good.

Cloudy peach pour, decent but very quick head. Nose is soft fruit and alcohol. Bittersweet. Middle is orange zest and light malt. Finish still has a lingering orange note that cannot hide the alcohol. Exuberant, but a little unbalanced.

A very nice triple. Pours a pretty golden. Aromas of Belgian candy, some funk and sour. Fruit too. Flavors are sweet and candy like with a nice hop finish. Dry and effervescent. Great stuff!

Not a bad beer for a hopped up Tripel. I was expecting something a little more full and not as hoppy. For a 9%ABV I was surprised at how light it was. Overall, a decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
