The Ogden pours a mostly cloudy orange yellow with a nice off-white head that lasts a good while. The aroma is citrus with bread and light caramel. The flavor favors citrus but also contains bread and caramel. Overall this is a very nice beer.

Bottle. Moderate grain for the malt, heavy grapefruit and lemon peel for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with pear, white wine and pepper. Heas is large, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is sparkling clear light amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet, acidic and bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, oily, with a lively carbonation and a lightly alcoholic finish. A nice Abbey Tripel with fruity spicy aromas and well balanced flavors.

On tap at Granite State on tap. Lightly hazy golden color with a minimal head. Fruity earthy spicy with a sweet bready malty sugary base and a hint of alcohol. a bit hoppy for a traditional tripel, but tasty just the same.

Lightly hazy gold beer, decent pale cream colour head. Palate is very slightly viscous but with good minerally carbonation. Sweet pale malts, sticky almost and with a touch of honey. Mild malt cream. Belgian spice and a touch of ripe orange. Smooth finish. A very sweet tripel, really needs something else to liven it up. Hides the abv well.

Rated on 6-14-2014 (Bottle) This beer has a very small off-white head that mostly diminishes, transparent amber body, very little carbonation observed, and one ring of lacing. The aroma is malt, yeast and tropical fruit. The flavor is lightly bitter, alcohol, yeast, tropical fruit, and banana. The mouthfeel is smooth and light carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is very quaffable and the 9% ABV is not overpowering by any means. The flavors come together very nicely making this beer worth trying and a beer I would drink again.

Poured from a bottle I'm not sure why I paid money for considering I do not understand the love Goose Island gets...but I did, to prove a point. This is mediocre beer. I must not be drinking the same beer many of these reviews are talking about. The confusion continues. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Pours a hazy light golden color with 1 1/2 fingers of lasting head. Aromas of banana and spice (coriander?) Nice full mouth feel with a well balanced taste of sweet with some bitterness and a dry finish. Nicely made Belgian Triple.
