Very pale golden beer. Aroma of spiced sweets. I can taste almost as caramel banana with cinnamon. My pretty good.

Pours a three finger white head that stays forever leaving a good lace. Crystal clear pale straw color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Fruity Belgian yeast nose and flavor is citrus, sweet Belgian yeast and hints of spices. High ABV is hidden. $4.35 for a 12oz bottle from Bertís Better Beers Hooksett, NH

Smells acceptable and pours like a really good beldgy. No doubt after the first swig this is in yer face alky thing happening. Yes, tries to be as civilized as the real old country but fails to get there. Another triple domestic wannah bee - yah. Chalk this up as a strong ale baby. Not impressed; but numbed. Yes a typical Belgian yeast thing brewed in the good olí USA. Big happy in yer face deal, wew. Yea, there is some co2 but its drowned in the personality.

Light golden pour with frothy head. Light fruit ester aroma. Moderately sweet from apple/pear flavors. Some moderate hops to balance. Not a lot of spice or yeast flavor. Like a sweet and fruity golden ale. Drinkable and enjoyable but not a fantastic trippel.

Hazy golden beer out of the tap with only the barest white head. Nice spicy nose with some yeast and citrus notes. You can taste all the abv in this one. Bitter orange peel, coriander spice, a bit of pepper heat and a strong doughy yeast flavor. Syrupy mouth feel. Big, flavorful triple.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden straw color. Smells sweet, lots of sugar, yeast. A big, sweet malty taste. Can taste the alcohol on the back end as it warms. I really like the mouthfeel, though it finishes just shy of sticky sweet. Medium+ bodied; average carbonation.

The aroma is yeasty and malty with spice. The appearance is golden with a small head. The taste is like aroma. The palate is typical. Overall itís decent.

Packs a punch with the style, heavy malt flavor with sugar and tropical fruit. For the heavy fan. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Man, if only I could brew a tripel as solid as this! The pour is light and a little hazy. Very little head when poured at refrigeration temps (40F). A fantastic aroma with bready malts and that wonderful yeast yielding a subtle fruitiness and butterscotch. Mildly spicy. The taste is light and rather refreshing for a beer of this weight. The complexity of the yeast settles in quickly. Here the hop bill also rises to the forefront. The Citra gives the beer its light fruitiness. The Saaz keeps it in check with a nice dry spiciness. Wonderful. The mouthfeel is a little spritzy but not overly so. The mouthfeel balances the alcohol content which is barely noticeable except for a slight warming on the finish. Overall, a terrific tripel. Drinkable and complex. Certainly worthy of its Belgian heritage.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2015 From BandC. A dry hopped Tripel that wasnít a hop overkill. The yeast was very flowery and interesting. Serving: Bottle

Poured from the bottle of a 4-pack into a limited edition "crazy horse" gift set pimp cup. At first I tasted hay, but after the first few drinks I enjoyed a tropical flavor. This is a strong beer that you can gulp down, and I did. I travel up and down Ogden ave. and itís about time someone paid homage to this great street (some of which is Route 66).
