Cornfield (5521) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - NOV 18, 2009
FoBAB 2009. This poured a murky reddish amber with a skinny white head and left some spotty lace. The aroma was tart and fruity with a touch of Brett funk and some old wood. Same with the flavor, although it seemed to leave a fuzzy feeling in my mouth. Oddly, I kind of liked that.

HonkeyBra (3491) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - NOV 13, 2009
Sampled at FoBAB 2009. Pours a murky amber with an offwhite head. Big, sour, bretty aroma. Definitely funky with some fruit and barrel notes. Flavor is very good. Fruity, sour, funk, bitter. A startling exercise range beers can take.

TheAlum (5833) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - NOV 13, 2009
Sampled at FoBAB 2009. Pours a well hazed reddish amber, small offwhite head that laces a bit. Aromas are bretty and sour, funk dominant with barnyard, fruit, blackberry, red wine tannins. Initial is lightly tart, still bringing the sweetness of the blackberries, good bitter red wine tannins. A touch of alcohol, but largely fruit and tart dominant. Very nice and fizzy on the palate
