3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 24, 2005 shaker / wrigleyville / i liked this. a slightly spicy session ale. i didnít think it was a brown, rather, i thought it reminded me a bit of guinness--oddly enough. good, dry aftertaste.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at GI Clybourn, 4/30/2005. Murky brown pour with a good sized creamy tan head. Aroma is nutty and bready, and just a touch floral. Quite flavorful for a small beer, with sweet bready malts with just a touch of fruity tartness giving over to a nutty dryness in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Clybourn: My first small beer. Pretty much a really light brown ale. Pretty thin, yet I appreciated this because Iím not a fan of browns. Although Iím curious about the Impy Brown. Thanks to Ma Beth.
