2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a smokey amber-orange body with a large, creamy off-white head. Aroma is quite faint, with only a few grassy hop notes reaching me as I try to sniff up something to type. Oh wait, there is also a few faint notes of red fruits, otherwise pretty blank. Taste is pale malts, nuts, nougat, straw and hints of dry grass and mild herbal touches in the back. Light to medium body, medium to high carbonation. An OK ale, but either this bottle is far too old (I can’t find any BB date) or it should be labelled as "English Pale Ale" (in which case it would have scored a bit higher in my book - this is certainly no APA).

Bottle. Hazy amber with a yellowish head. Citrus aroma, like dried orange candy, bitter with a little marble bubblegum sourness. Full-bodied, carbonated, long, sourish finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
330ml bottle poured into a tumbler glass.
Cloudy deep golden color with a small white head.
Fruity hop nose - tropical and citrus - with some caramel.
Sweet flavors of malt and fruits - peach mostly. Low bitterness and some yeasty notes.
Light body, OK dryness and quite easy to drink despite the lack of hops.
