Nice Dark & Smooth Malty Winter Ale. Very drinkable, full bodied with very little carbonation. Sweet with touch of chocolate, hides the 8% well, easy to mass consume.

Fun old Washington atmosphere inside here, high ceilings, pillars, random scruffy western man in a cowboy hat walking in, smoking a cigarette, ordering a shot of tequila and a hefe, smiling that gentlemanly western way. Okay the beer. Smooth tasting (I know some hate that descriptor.), jumpy tasty for a porter. Lovely. jon112981 (327), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
