3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Moderate roasted grain for the malt, light herbs and grass for the hops, faint soap and dried leaves for the yeast, with a hint of green wood. Head is average to large, fizzy, slightly off-white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and lightly to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and lightly to moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, slick with a lively carbonation. Bitter hops flavor, not so much in the aroma, an earthy beer and a good drinking Imperial Pilsener.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle in the fridge for a long while. Pours with a large white head. Clear golden hued body. Grassy and bready aromas, straw, low sulfur, low metal. Clean. Mostly a pils and saaz like character. Flavors are bready and sweet with low grain, grass. A bit earthy and metallic. Clean and crisp finish though. Lively bubbles, dry, not bad. A bit astringent, possibly an off water profile for the style.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Appearance: Hazy yellow-Orange
Aroma: Grass toast, and malt
Flavor: Malt with a very full hop bitterness
Palate: Full bodied
Overall: While I tire of the trend to double and imperialize every beer style, this one is so well done that I find myself with nothing to argue against.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber bottle on clearance for $4. Pours slightly hazy orange, stiff white head. Slightly sweet aroma thatís hard to place. Taste is clear and crisply bitter. Pleasing finish. Not sure if itís "Imperial" but itís a quite pleasing beer. They were smoking crack to think they could sell it for $9 bottle though with the competition at that price point.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a large bottle into a trumpet glass to drink. The beer had a semi-cloudy dark gold and straw color with many small rising bubbles, and a large, foamy white head with great retention, and excellent cling and lacing. Its aroma featured crisp hops with floral, citrus, and pine notes, along with some light caramel malt, and a touch of honey. The beer had a somewhat bitter-sour blend with a strong grainy-earthy taste with some straw, light citrus, and malt. It had a lively, bubbly fizz with a dry but full composition, and had a medium body and mouthfeel. Thank you Mom for the nice Christmas present!

Light bitter and soda taste transitions to a sweeter ending. Wish they had a pale ale or IPA.

Nice light gold color. Slightly yeasty aroma. Grassy straw flavor with a sharp hoppy bitterness that I love about this not over the top as you would think but good

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is one of the best beers I have had in this style and the hop profile is very nice. Not hoppy like a ipa but more then almost any pilsner I have had. Pour is golden and cloudy with a very large fluffy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus and that standard pilsner aroma but bigger.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the Ingomar Club in Eureka, CA. Pours an orange color with a foamy white head and a lot of lacing. Nose is rich with floral, grassy and similar Nobel hops. Medium to full in body, and smooth in mouthfeel. Really good going down. The flavor is is very rich and tasty. The finish is dry and the bitterness is perfect. A simply excellent beer.
