3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Faint, lagerish aroma. Slightly hazy body with a little lace at the top of the glass. Not much head or lace. Stone smoked flavor. Unique. Not bad although a little thin. Decent; the smoked flavor is fun and unique.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pumphouse Firefighters Fest, March 2006. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (herbs), with a light note of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, somewhat yeasty. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. A passable rendition, certainly drinkable, just not trying too hard. More like a light helles than a full-on Czech pils.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma, appearance, flavor, and palate were all about average. Not much about this beer stands out except the grassy hops.OK beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft - Tyson’s Corner, VA - Perfect clear sparkling gold, lasting creamy white head. Deep spicy sazz hop nose with touches of grass, earth, florals, and hints of nut bread. Tasted just about the same with a very pronounced spicy hop tone throughout. Light to medium bodied, light carbonation, hoppy finish. A great beer to pair with GB’s garlic fries. Tasty and quite drinkable....

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at the Washington DC restaurant. Amber coloured with a thick white head. I’ve have honestly never come across such a seriously mis-named beer. This is a very nice, very hoppy smelling and tasting beer. With a full bodied , smooth mouthfeel. It tastes nothing like a lager, never mind a Czech one? Judging by the other reviews this version is not much like those available in other of their outlets. It is however excellent.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Colorado location. Hazy, whiffs of flavor. Nice, nice! Especially good for a lager.
