3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours two fingers of head on a clear light straw colored body.
The aroma is metallic dry grain, good.
The taste has that nice dry lemon bitterness with just a touch of malt sweetness in the middle. Finishes with a sharp bitter note.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Great profile and balance.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Gordon Biersch, Buffalo, NY. Straw with a grassy aroma; strong grainy body; and a clean finish. A pretty good pils.

Boy, does this one bring back childhood memories. The drinking age in New York was 18, I could get served at age 13, Son of Sam was stalking the city, and this was about the only thing we had too cool us off - especially when the big power failure hit. Don’t know where I’d find it these days.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Mild aroma of bread and some spices....not that pungent. Clear golden yellow with ultra white head. Sweet bready malt followed qucikly by a spicy bitterness that is thin. Finishes almost dry with the same bitterness. Fairly plain but not bad for the price.

Standard Czech Pilsner. I never really care for these, and this is no different. It has a mild bite, but not enough to make it interesting. Never again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Light golden/yellow body with a white head, mostly diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, herbal hops, minerals, straw. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Passable as a czech pils. Malts come off as somewhat raw, grainy.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a clear gold with half finger head which quickly fades. light carbonation. Aroma is metallic with very light hints of caramel and nuts. Mild roasty nutty flavor with a slight hoppiness on the back. Honestly not much to write home about and better social beers are available

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Tapped at Gordon Biersch at the San Francisco international airport.
The beer came with almost no head in a weizen glass. Color is clear golden no head.
Aroma is malty, a bit of corn malt, some sweet caramel.
Taste is malty with a bitter finish typical for german pilsners or canned industrial pilsners.
It is no pilsner czech style at all not even near it, it tasted like a german helles and a bad one, too.
