Draft pours clear deep copper with a one finger white head. Looks nice. The aroma is standard caramel and grain. The flavor is mildly sweet with a touch of bitter on the finish and includes a hint of diacetyl. Medium body with an average festbier feel. Oh well, it’s a tick.

kramer (5912) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2015
Tap, Seattle. Pours a slightly hazy orange body with a small fizzy white head that faded to a thin film. The nose is slightly sweet and toasty malt with a little huskiness. A bit grainy smelling. The flavor is pretty decent, sweet toasted and caramel malt with light bitterness on the finish. Light bodied with soft gentle carbonation and a little lingering huskiness. Not the smoothest or best lagered Oktoberfest, but it’s possible.
