3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma is bready malt forward. Appearance is golden copper crystal clear with small off white head that dissipates quickly. Taste is big rich bready malt forward. Hop bitterness balances malt nicely. Pleasant spicy herbal aroma hopping in background. Palate is medium plus and crisp. Sweet malt and crisp hop bitterness linger with a hint of what I would describe as saltiness. Overall an excellent beer. Huge malt flavor without being sweet. Hops balance things out just right bitterness wise and aroma hopping is nice in the background. Other than the saltiness lingering in the palate I wouldn’t change much with this.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. bottle dated 7/2/14. It pours a nice bright gold color with an off white head. The aroma is clean and malty with a balanced spicy, lightly floral noble hop character. The flavor is rather full bodied for the gravity with more dry but dense maltiness. Spicy, earthy hop bitterness in the finish. A perfectly serviceable Oktoberfest. I like it.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber lager, tastes more like a pumpkin spice beer with strong hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. Not bad overall but slightly flat.
