[on tap at Gordon Biersch, DTW airport]
Sweet pilsner malt aroma with a little lagery sulfur and faint spicy, noble hops. Crystal clear gold under only white lace and collar. Flavour is soda crackery and slightly sweet pilsner malt. Clean and with some pungent, German (vs. Czech) hops flavour. Light body, medium carbonation, crisp.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Atlanta, Ga. - Hartsfield International Airport - Concourse A restaurant. Sparkling dark golden pour, snow white head - thin. Aroma has some buttery accents, a touch of grain. Crisp flavor with some buttery undertones, a touch of grain, some light touches of undefined spice. Mouthfeel is thick enough.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a weak bright white head. The aroma offers up sweet malt, bready cracker like sweetness and then light notes of fruity esters along with faint noble hoppiness. The taste is similar with sweet malts, sweet bready sort of cracker cereal like notes and then a light spicy to earthy lime like noble hoppiness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is a slightly grassy Pilsner-ish beer in the vein of cheap European lagers, which coming from me is not meant as an insult. It’s very clear and yellow w/ a head of mixed bubbles. It’s lightly sweet, a little sticky w/ a lightly oxidized pale malt character. It’s full bodied w/ creamy carb and finishes w/ a touch of sweetness and some lingering bitterness. This stuff is pretty alright. There is nothing horribly wrong w/ it anyway.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft - Clear golden color, very pale. Grainy taste with a dry finish on the palate. Kinda has a peanut butter taste to it which I can’t explain how they did it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap, Seattle. Pours a clear yellow body with a minimal fizzy white head that completely vanished. The nose is rather light, a bit of white grape juice like sweetness and some minimal floral hops. The flavor is light as well, and that white grape juice note comes through on the flavor too. Zero perceptible hops. Light bodied and thin with fizzy carbonation and a mercifully short finish. Pretty boring stuff, about what I expected.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap @ Gordon Biersch San Jose. Clear golden pour with a white head. Kind of a bready and doughy malt profile to the aroma. A bunch of apple and floral hops. A lot of grassy and straw as well. Flavor is mostly sweet and malty forward. A lot of bready malts and biscuit dough. Sorta grassy and definitely an apple note to it as well. Odd vanilla character, but I kind of like it.
