Tasted on tap in sampler glass. Appears a clear golden color with weak white head, no lace. Little aroma, but there are hints of grain, baking bread, refined hops, and some fruity yeast esters. A very crisp, clean and refreshing ale. Easier to drink than macro adjunct lagers.

Great aroma. Flavor is not as robust as I would expect with a Kolsch. Mostly sweet, malty taste. Well-carbonated.

On tap at the DC location: Pours a clear pale golden with a spotty-lacing froth of white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with a touch of light fruity esters and noble hops. Starts with average fullness and a soft malty sweetness with some clean bitterness and a hint of light fruitiness before a smooth crisp finish. Pretty true to style and drinkable.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Block (850) - West Lafayette, Indiana, USA - SEP 1, 2011
Grassy with a bit of hops. Lots of water makes this beer especially easy to drink. Light on everything from the flavor to the alcohol.
