Drjohnrock (95), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Dec 10, 2007 Draft sampler at Columbus brewpub. Clear amber color, malty flavor that’s a little too timid--should be bigger.
ajm (331), USA Aug 31, 2008 Much better than I remember. Tap at Tempe locale. Nice reddish brown color with very fluffy white head. Opens with notes of raspberry, wheat and Saaz hops; finishes smoothly but right before the end is a faint-but-weird note of wet dog. Mildly disturbing but goes away after a few sips. MrBunn (851), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Pour is a copper color with a touch of a head that dies quickly. Aromas of dusty grain and malt are about all I’m picking up. Flavor is a mix of malt and grain dust with a thread of apple juice sweetness and a watery finish with a hint of spice. nbutler11 (163), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 11, 2008 Pours a deep amber color with a white head from the tap at Chase Field. Much like Sam Adams, but with less bitterness and more malt. My staple for a Diamondbacks game. rayOfBeer (231), El Cerrito, California, USA Aug 10, 2008 Poured from bottle an orange color with small white head. Aroma was soft with mostly malt and typical slightly skunky lager smell. Flavor is bready with light caramel and very mild sweetness. Overall this was an ok beer easy to drink but not all that flavorful. TapMaster (12), , California, USA Aug 9, 2008 great after a hot afternoon , nice color , first one went down with some leftover pizza in about 3 minutes
