3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ernest (5187) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 15, 2004
Draught. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), moderately malty (cookie, bread). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. As usual with GB, not enough bittering hops and too paint-by-numbers...but certainly passable and it seems the proper ingredients are used (no citrusy/piney hops, etc.).
