Draft at Cleveland airport. The tap handle was still advertising their winter brew - this didn’t inspire confidence. But I was assured that this was the summer seasonal. I think it was probably a spring seasonal they couldn’t sell off yet, but OK, I’ll roll with it. Medium amber, nice head. Aroma was sweet caramel accented malts. Flavor matched. Sweetish, some balancing bittering hops on the finish. Maybe a hint of a floral note. Not bad, just not my thing.

Taste was sweet tangy spicey caramelize malt backbone then earthy spicey hops. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with medium body, then roasts toasty spicey sweet average length finish. Like this Maibock version.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draught at the RDU Brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is very malty with some caramel and light toasting. Taste is creepily sweet - really not good. Not a fan of this in the slightest.
