This is a pretty Bavarian style beer. Aroma is really, really excellent, I like the deep amber color and the nice, off-white to brown head. Very bready/malty with a sweet finish. Zehr gut!

I have a taste for sweeter beers, so this auburn lager is right up my alley. Enough of a bitter edge to keep it interesting. I get it both from the grocery store and my local GB restaurant.

Man when I got this on tap I thought it was from Germany! Oh well... It is pretty standard for the style, very smooth and finishes with a smokey aftertaste. Not bad.

baked yam orange in color, with perfect clarity. classic marzen dried fruit maltiness; pretzel toasty overtone to --what is it?, apricot? why, there’s a whole dang restaurant in there! sweetish with a lite, very lite bitterness. grand, but i’d ’up’ the ingredients a bit more, everything but the water, that is. finish a little weak-- unless you studiously keep your glass full.

Had one of these on tap last night at the brewpub in ’Cow’lumbus’ Arena district. Of the three that were available, I was most impressed with this one. This is a brew with a warm ruddy amber color and a decent head. It has a light nose and a smooth sweet mouthfeel. It has a very nice finish which goes from sweet to lightly bitter. This one definitely tastes better as it warms. One of the few beers I could enjoy at cellar temperature.

I really liked this one. I am a fan of oktoberfest\marzen beers. This one had an interesting flavor at first, that became very refreshing.
