3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Excellent coppery amber appearance with a moderately foamy head. Smells of syrupy malt, slightly skunky. A relatively neutral taste, some watery malt and barley. Not bad. Fairly bitter mouthfeel, but smooth. It’s decent.

Draft to taster at the Atlanta brewpub. Looks solid; a transparent full gold with foamy off-white head. Smells of dough, malt, and lager yeast. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Not bad.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Sampled on draft at the Virginia Beach brewpub this beer poured a rich caramel-amber color with a large foamy white head that faded and left minimal lacing. The aroma was very faint sweet malts - almost nonexistent. The flavor was very smooth and very mild with just a hint of sweet malts, caramel and honey. Very faint overall. No finish. Medium and smooth body. Amazingly bland.

My favorite Gordon so far. Maybe the best part is the lacing, and the corresponding creaminess. But the flavor is delicious.
