DarkMagus (412), San Jose, California, USA Nov 26, 2007 Very light, almost non-existent aroma. Golden-yellow, pretty standard-looking yet still appealing. Some light white bubbles but not much of a head. Light, very faint grainy malty aroma. Goes down like water. Clean, refreshing, and well-made. But on the other hand, very thin, watery, and almost tasteless. A great BMC replacer but not my style.
fidel (210), Livermore, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 Golden yellow, sweet, malty, grassy hops, grainy, citrus, refreshing crisp finish. MIBRomeo (1889), Wisconsin, USA Sep 16, 2008 not really worth a rating. tried this as a beer whore and didn’t really enjoy anything there. jcr (853), Jasper, Indiana, USA Sep 15, 2008 Draft. This premium lager was sitting aside several mass-market lagers. The choice was easy and this premium lager turned out to be easy drinking with lots more taste than its competitors on tap. Not to say this was extraordinary because it wasn’t. But it was above average. Medium yellow body with a short, white head. The aroma is lightly malty with some notes of grain and lightly hoppy with notes of grass and flowers. The flavor is moderately sweet (perhaps overly so) and lightly bitter. The finish remains sweet and only lightly bitter. Medium body and watery texture. Plentry of carbonation.
SuperDave70 (832), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 31, 2008 Pours a golden straw color with a fizzy white head. Very light grass and corn aroma. Flavor is light malt and a touch of hops. Clean and refreshing, but not much else. Ron (750), Rochester, New York, USA Aug 14, 2008 (Vegas 2008) Very little aroma except for some slight hint of hops. The color is golden with a small white head. The flavor is light on the palate with some hops.
